Waking Into Presence
I have this beauty that flows through me, this deep, innate peace. Upon waking, I looked through my window and gazed at the trees as my soulful companion breathed his hot breath upon me, burying his fuzzy face into the pillow; how absolutely blissful this was—desireless and filled with immense power.
Just as the tall pines sway in the strong gusts of wind, going with the flow, gracefully and eternally, I find the same energy within me—this innate kernel of truth that permeates every dimension of society and is the very foundation of life itself.
The Eternal Soulmate
There she was, the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I was in love. I am in love. She is my eternal soulmate, and we’re bound together by the lips and hips.
God’s infinite beauty struck me down as I was no longer bound to time; my salvation was found in the sky—through day and night, the setting sun, the vibrant stars and moon, even in the blanket of gray where all seems gone: the ocean, the forest, the luminous reflection upon the crystal fruit bowl, and the tail end of the yellow banana.
When you are ripe, you are ripe.
An infant gaze showed the way back home and into the kingdom of heaven. My nightmare became a dream; my illusions became the lessons to awakening. Words cannot describe the absolute beauty of this “feeling,” but I wish these words to carry you there and for you to experience it yourself.
Dying to Truly Live
I’ve been in a rush to get nowhere for far too long. Everything that I could ever need is here and has been here.
In order to truly live, you must first die; shed your skin, arise from your cocoon, allow for the metamorphosis of suffering to transcend your mind, body, and spirit, so all becomes in harmony with the flow of life.
There is no New Year, there is only right Now.
And through the mind’s franticness, I consistently overcome by productive action. The answer is all around you—the sky, the reflection, the howling wind.
The Energy Within Us All
There is a profound amount of unfathomable energy within every single one of us that is intended to be birthed into the world; it doesn’t matter your vocation—whether it be an artist or grocery store bagger—what you do with your energy is what creates the world around you and attracts what comes to you next.
The mind can easily misinterpret this strong-pulling energy as fear, angst, anxiety, sadness, or powerlessness, but in truth, the higher calling of all of your discomfort comes from an intuitive nature synonymous with God’s bones.
The universe designed you to be great and to do great things.
You Are Not Your Thoughts
The greatest accomplishment that you can ever have in this lifetime is not money, and it is not external or superficial power. It is the ability to disassociate from the endless, frantic chatter and labeling of every little thing that the mind thinks it knows—the ability to direct your focus within, to follow the breath, to feel the pulse of the fingertips, to observe something around you as an infant.
When you do this, you are truly living, and the genuine flow of God’s nectar seeps from your pores and entices all human life like hungry bees; its sweetness attracts all, is life-sustaining and all-nourishing.
The miracles of this world are birthed from the courage to proceed accordingly against all odds, and in the observational flow of the useless and conditioned chatter of the mind.
This doesn’t mean that there is no fear or that the darkest parts of you don’t have truth. By truth, I mean a functioning nature toward enlightenment, which is pure acceptance of this very moment.
The realization that you have thoughts but are not your thoughts — you are the Experiencer of them — is a profound one. You cannot wrap your head around this because it cannot be thought; it can only be felt.
